The brewery is housed in a repurposed 1940’s Chevrolet dealership and is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike to take tours, enjoy live music and savor the unique flavors of locally brewed beer.
Terrapin brewery has been heavily awarded for its distinctive brews, and continues operation in a 40,000 square foot facility just outside the Athens loop. Terrapin offers tours, live music events and the opportunity to taste its traditional and seasonal beverages.
The Southern Brewery is redefining what it means to create “local” beer in an effort to use all Georgia-grown ingredients. The brewery even studies wild yeasts such as those from Georgia’s state flower, the Cherokee rose, as well as azaleas grown on the brewery’s property and in the University of Georgia’s Botanical Gardens.
At Copper Creek, you can enjoy your dining experience with a menu of pub staples and a number of house beers. Copper Creek rotates around 39 styles of beers during the year and uses a diverse array of malted barley, hops and yeast.
